Terms

This page describes how the paper works. It is not a contract you are asked to sign, because there is nothing here to buy and no account to open.

The paper is free

Every story, the archive, and the Sunday email are free, with no subscription and no account. There is no paid tier.

Whose words these are

Every story is a post its author published on X. It runs under their name, with a link to the original, and the paper does not cut, rewrite, or re-punctuate what they wrote. The words belong to the people who wrote them, and reproducing them here with credit does not transfer anything to this paper.

If you wrote something that appears here and would rather it did not, write to sunday@timelinetimes.com and it will be taken down. You do not need to explain why, and you will not be argued with.

What the paper itself owns

The design, the typesetting, the editing decisions, and any artwork the paper makes are its own. The posts are not.

The Sunday email

The Sunday email is sent only to addresses that confirmed by clicking a link. Every issue carries an unsubscribe link that works immediately. See Privacy for what is stored and for how long.

No warranty

The paper is published as-is by one person. It may be late, it may be wrong, and it may stop. Links point at other people’s posts and sites, which are theirs and not the paper’s responsibility.

Changes

If these terms change, the date at the top of this page changes with them.
